She’s home! He’s not sure exactly what the problem was but he did it by using a pressure bleeder at 25psi, cracking the bleed nipples and then pumping the pedal for ages and eventually it began to flow. Power steering flush, new hazard light switch, put the new sills on and treat the surface...

She’s fixed! Picking her up Friday morning. Will have a proper chat with the mechanic then and update.

Well, she’s gone. Towed down to the garage and left for him to look at this week. Good chance to clean and tidy the garage if nothing else!

Anyone know the correct bolt sizes for mounting the plinth to a Z3 bumper please? Edit: Just realised it’s a screw not a bolt. Now sorted!

Found a mate with a rigid tow rod and she’s booked in w/b 21st April with a local garage who I’ve used before and is a German sports car specialist. Make or break time. Fingers crossed.

Had an idea to get the wheels turning in the hope that a signal from the ABS sensor to the ABS ECU might somehow shock everything into life. Let it run up on stands in 2nd gear for 5 mins with the wheels spinning but still no joy. Took @t-tony ‘s suggestion and went into the local MOT centre...

If you’re not confident flaring the pipes yourself, some local car spares type shops will often do them for you. My local ones did a couple for me - I just measured the old ones and they made the new ones up to the same length then I shaped them by taping them to the old ones with masking tape...
