Hello,
Recently on my 1999 Z3 I got these two lights on the dash for the ABS and the ASC. Here's what I have done so far:
Could this point to a more serious problem of the ABS/ASC module going bad? If so, is it typically the solders in this module that tend to go bad?
Recently on my 1999 Z3 I got these two lights on the dash for the ABS and the ASC. Here's what I have done so far:
- I have a Launch X431 Scanner that I plugged into the diagnostic port of the Z3 using the FOXWELL OBD2 16pin to 20pin cable. I tried to scan for ABS/ASC codes, but my scanner thinks that the ABS/ASC module isn't there. This scanner is able to pick up ABS codes as demonstrated in this video:
- I have checked all the fuses to see if any of the ABS/ASC fuses are blown. All are intact.
