HI i want to drop the front suspenson and subframe on my 2.8 Z3 is the best way to support the the engine to use a engine support across the inner wings?
any thoughts

basically to do a full refurbish of the front end drop the crossmember and strip it get it sandblasted and powdercoated and investigate a leak on the power steering rack ,

Unless powercoating the front subframe itself and perhaps replacing the engine mounts, it’s maybe not needed to get the ole’ engine brace out and to investigate a steering fluid leak.

You could still get a big refresh done unbuttoning from the top mounts, to the rear lollipops, anti roll bar and track/tie rod ends.

Are you going full scale? knuckles getting power coated, new abs rings, bearings etc?
