I noticed your group at BMW Event at Beaulieu recently and I was given one of you cards.
I have had three Z3s over the years my first was a silver 2001 2.2 in Silver which I purchased in 2009 and had it for four years, good car with only the usual alarm problem which I fixed by repairing the cracked wires between the boot and the body. Sometime after I sold my pride and joy I began to hunger for another one and in 2015 my daughter put me onto a 1999 2.0 face lift model in Silver this was another nice car but had numerous alarm issues which was finally cured by me fitting new door catches. I put this in part exchange for my present one a 2002 2.2 in Silver ( notice I like the colour Silver ) from North London. This one came with a hard top which I sold as I use the car with the top down when I can.
I have always liked the style of the Z3 and the pleasure is in the driving with that wonderfull exhaust sound track.
Previous two seaters have been MGA 1600 X 2, MG Midget, and Sumbeam Alpines, and none compare to the Z
