Just purchased Z3

Just purchased a 1998 Z3 1.9 Atlanta blue with power hood .I owned an identical car 12 years ago but changed it for a 2.7 Boxster .I still have Boxster but have always missed my Z so this is a hobby car now. Some bodywork needs attention small dent on bonnet and supermarket dings on drivers door .Mileage verifies by old Mots at 56k.Usual seat rocking problem and odometer very dim .Some trim work required due to sun damage as car has spent some time in Spain. I wonder could anyone tell me if its possible to get classic insurance on this type of car I will only be doing about 3k miles per year

You should be able to get reasonable insurance with low annual mileage.

Don't know about there, but in the US it needs to be 25yrs old for classic plates on the car and with this ,you can then get special insurance. Welcome to the site from Canton, Ohio USA.

hi.you can get new seat dampers on ebay for less than a tenner..they are a bit fiddly to put in but really worth while..nice car.
