Check ( the loom of doom ) the boot loom wiring common problem causing courtesy lamp and central locking issues.

That was quick Thanks - I also have an issue with the lectric window - all of a sundden on both sides theystarted moving about an inch up and down at a time - theywill travel all the the way up and down but just have to reapedly press the button - have you come across omething like this before?

Hello and welcome to the forum. The bendy bit of wiring on the top left hand corner of the boot can be responsible for all sorts of electrical gremlins as Steve says so check there first for broken wires or partially broken wires in the loom

Welcome Andrew to the forum. Always try cheap fix first. Silicone spray on the window rubbers often works wonders.

If you have stuttering window movement it might be the window regulator clips need replacing. These are white clips that attach the window to the lifting mechanism.

- central locking problems are almost part of the initiation process for Zeds of our vintage. As others have said the `loom of doom' is usual suspect but not always the case. More detail required once you've settled in.

Hi and welcome from Pembrokeshire , as others have said check loom of doom first , my central locking issue turned out to be the passenger door actuator playing up , changed it and all ok now , with Windows as said try silicone spray on the runners first

Hi from Mansfield. Loom of doom or actuator on the door I'd be guessing. My central locking packed up. Never bothered with it I just use the key.
