New/old Zed owner

Hi everyone.

I’ve had a long time passion for Zed cars. I started with a T plate 2.0 straight 6 Z3 in Topaz Blue, with the blue black interior when they first came out, I swapped it for an V reg s2000 but quickly swapped to a 330ci convertible. As soon as I saw the Z4 I had to have one, it was a 53 plate 2.5i with all the toys and absolutely loved it.

Fast forward 16 years and about 40+ more cars and I bought a 57 plate 49k 2.5i as a weekend car but drove it everyday as remembered what the roadster life was all about. Only had it for about 6 weeks as decided in true mid-life crisis style that I wanted to daily a roadster so at the end of October I traded my 68 plate 430d in and got a new g29 Z4 M40i First Edition, and don’t regret it.

Hopefully I’ll get to meet some of you at localish to Yorkshire Meets.

I’m from Barnsley and as it happens just drove past Sherburn in Elmet today coming the long way back from York. We’ll see if we can make it on Sunday, would be good to meet some other Zed owners.
