Hi, I bought my Zed in September, I love the shape, what a handsome car!!
I am a classic car enthusiast. I own a Triumph Stag, Fiat X1/9, Audi TT 2005 225hp, Nato Jeep and Merc E220cdi.
I do all my own mechanics. Hope to contribute what ever I can.
I dont know much about the Zed, but will ask so please bear with me. I will attach a few pics.
Firstly, I never seem to get a definitive answer when I scour the search. To start is I have the 2.5 SE facelift model YEAR 2006. It has Bosch platinum original spark plugs, would I be correct in saying that the gap is 1mm?

Hi @Sukhdev Sandhu, :welcome: to the forum from me too in Staffordshire. What's not to like about your Zed, blue with light interior, but then I may be biased;)

:welcome: Gap 0.9mm/35.4 thou as far as I can find. If iridium plugs you shouldn't gap them, they are preset at 1mm but I don't think they are specified for your car / engine anyway.

HH and welcome from me in Scotland :welcome:.
As Niall has already said if you buy new plugs for your car plug gap should be set up correctly already.

A big thanks to all for the welcome. Today I ditched the tramlining runflats. Fitted Brembo pads and discs rear 20mm spacers and 15mm front, and will sort out the spark plugs this weekend. Last month I removed the CDV and August fitted a stubby Aerial.
It came with Stormverks V1 gearknob and handbreak lever, also Msport foot pedals (clutch , throttle and brake ).
Any other cheap mods I could do?

Welcome to the forum from a fellow Z4 owner. Great looking Zed but i would ditch the M badges before the M police get wind of it.
