Does anyone know anything about this car? Seeing it's based in the North the Tax / VAT wouldn't apply for the EU...

As the car is in Northern Ireland that is classed as uk so outwith eu so yes you would have to pay vat to ship to Eu .
As for seeing it ideally you are going to need a member in Northern Ireland to look at it for you as even for me that is one of the closest active members on the mainland in Scotland its 40 miles to the ferry then 2hr each way ferry journey over and back at current round trip of £372 for car and driver so not really possible.

Hi Stephen. Thanks for the reply. Northern Ireland has a seperate agreement regarding the taxation of goods where VAT and Import Duties do not apply to export to the EU.

Seeing it's a quite low-miler, I was wondering if it had been in ownership here at some stage or if there is a "shady" history. Ideally, I would commision a company to do a full check on the vehicle before purchase.

I didn't know that.

The car mot history would suggest was on uk mainland till some point between 2016 -21 as it has uk mot until 2016 then nothing till 2021 when tested in Northern Ireland and has been tested there since
It is still showing in on the plate displayed in the ad on the gov.uk website.
