Hi guys,

I know this has been posted before, but nothing recently. I am looking for the clips and tenax screws for the wind deflector (see image below). Any help is appreciated :)

Literally just tried to buy Tenax screws from bmw in the uk and they took the money and refunded it within 48 hours. Not available unless you try a German supplier who won’t post outwith Deutschland if I recall.

Little clips are a tough one to find as well. Sytner bmw has them listed for sale. Might be worth giving them a call.

@spurs fan in a coupe - Andy might be able to help

I have just bought an OEM mesh wind deflector. I don’t have a tonneau cover.

Can anyone confirm if the wind deflector will fit on the shorter Tenax screw if there is no tonneau cover fitted?

If so, does anyone have one spare? One of mine is missing.

If not, has anyone got a pair of the extended screws for sale please?

Cheers!

Edit: Just thinking out loud here… If I’m not using a tonneau cover, could I just use a no 10 x 22mm hex head screw with a nylon spacer?

Could anyone tell me the length and outside diameter of the spacer that comes with the OEM extended Tenax screws please?

Well, that’s what I’ve done and they work a treat. As the spacers and screws came in packs of 10,
I have some spares. If anyone wants a pair, PM me and I’ll stick them in the post.
