How To Guide Boot lock will not open!

Anyone can help please? Central locking remote working but boot is locked and will not open. Did for a while but not anymore, something wrong in the linkage. Would prefer not to drill, so any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks

Does the boot lock turn with key and when you turn it is there a difference in the feel as you push the button?

Unfortunately not. The key just turns. It did unlock with the key but I think the linkage has broken. Thanks

In that case I don't think you have an option but to remove the badge and drill,the small hole. If the worst came to the worst there are members always breaking cars so you would likely be able to get another lid in the colour needed if you didn't want to leave the hole.

I can't see any other way in other then using a drill, This is what I did to mine as I removed the lock all together and fitted electric actuator, I drilled the hole in case of emergancies such as flat battery

The leaver with the spring on it is the part you have to puch across to release the lid
