Hello all. If Ian Grayson is listening in he will know by now that his former red 2.8 S901TWJ that I bought has now been passed on to my Grandson Sam. I bought the car in 2011 and it was always destined to go to Sam. I never really used the car although I did look after it doing less than 1000 miles in the 14 years in my ownership. However serious health issues have forced me to pass it on sooner than expected.Rare usage of the car has thrown up the problem with the immobiliser which has been triggered in the past when trying to start up with a poor battery. Sadly this has happened again and Sam is becoming frustrated because he has to move the car to a new location due to a house move. Here is the punch line. Is it possible to permanently bypass the immobiliser ie. delete it entirely? Secondly does anyone know if there is a reasonably priced scanner/reader/device on the market that can re-set the immobiliser? Thanks in anticipation.
