Just wondered if anybody else had one of these (see photos). I received it when I bought the car and the box contains a calendar, CD with 19 jazz songs and a Z3 promotion booklet. It's ben stored in my loft with an unused soft top cover in beige ever since.

That's a fascinating insight into the Z3 marketing team's pitch in 1998 ----- Love the contextual stuff behind the mechanics and engineering!

Any chance of listing the Jazz tunes??????????

Always useful to have a calendar from 27 years ago.
And as for a CD of 'jazz songs'.....
I kinda like that stuff. For example the sales brochure for the car is, nowadays, as much use as a chocolate frog but I just like having that kinda stuff in my folder of other car related tat. No I don't keep the tat that came with the the vacuum cleaner or the microwave but just something about car tat. When I go to the classic car show I usually end up leafing through the tat boxes and walk away with the workshop manual for some old car I'll never own.

Been down a massive rabbit hole on this one!!!!!!! But was utterly fascinated by the marketing stuff @davidd posted.

Seems as part of its marketing, Bayerische Motoren Werke AG had a prolific record label....... I'm sure there's at least one other boring nerdy git like me out there, so if indeed you are out there, check out the discography!

All that kind of stuff goes nice at sale time.
I have 2 zeds that have a lot of the original stuff sales brochures , original sales invoices, accessories pricing leaflet i have 2 original hardtop manual as they both had ( one still does ) hardtops fitted from new.
Nice to have a look at now and again great seeing all the standard and sport interiors when they were photographed new and undamaged.

I've got a load of the sales bumff (brochure, etc) that came with my car if anybody wants it. I was going to throw it away TBH.

I didn't realise there were fans of that kind of stuff. o_O

:) So when you go to the NEC and see the many stands with boxes and boxes of brochures and dozens of people leafing through said boxes it never occurred to you that those people might be interested in the contents of said boxes - or maybe they're just looking for something soft because the Loo has run out of paper . .

I got a white umbrella, branded with BMW/Williams when I picked my car up

Did anyone get "The Hire" DVD ~ apparently given out at some Dealers (see in Wikipedia link, I initially thought it was online only)

Yep, got 'The Hire' DVD, there was a series of them, with Clive Owen who was being tipped to play James Bond around that time.

The brolly was part of the BMW / Williams F1 team at the time. There was almost a uniform available, brolley, lightweight rain jacket, caps, polo shirts, and a teddy bear.

Prior to ordering I got the below publications.

Oh oh! Oh oh! That's not good. Opening a brolly indoors.

Here's my brolly - unopened indoors - the handle is supposed to be a replica of the 50's SL gear knob

I just presumed they were looking for old jazz-mags TBH. ;)

….Err, it could actually be quite useful next year!
Apart from it has the wrong year printed on it, yes.
And I'll put money on Easter weekend being different. I have NEVER understood why Easter changes all the time, yet christmas is always the same.
