Electric seat operation

Z3M electrc seat forward/backward inop.
Other positions up/down working ok

Try tapping the motor with a small hammer as you operate the switch.

Yep as Tony says try tap with a hammer while operating switch the motors quite often stick due to lack of use.

I did try the tapping with hammer suggestion but still only up/down working.Looks like the seat may have to come out
