Hey everyone! First time posting! I bought a Z3 which needs some love and TLC, I have started a lot of the work (alarm and tilt sensor issue!)
something odd happened earlier, I felt like the passenger window was not quite fully sealed at the top, the window switches have never worked since I had the car but today I manually pulled the window up in its correct position by using my hands on either side. I then started to play with the electric mirror switch to make sure they worked, the bizarre thing is as I was doing the drivers side mirror all of a sudden the passenger window started to go down as if someone was pressing the button!! This is where it has stayed ever since!
Thankfully it’s dry for a few days but I have pulled the door panel off to see what I could see, it all looks quite straight and greased up, can anyone else guide me on what else to check?
Is there a relay for the electric window? It’s a coincidence both switches don’t work so maybe it’s that? If so where does it live?
