New here. I am in the process of restoring a 2002 M Roadster. I’m most of the way done besides some interior work and wheel install. The stereo is turning out to be a problem. No bass no matter how much money I throw at it. Any thoughts?

also, how the heck do I add images? They are ALL too big. lol

Have you tried fitting another radio to see if that works, at least you would prove the original unit is duff. If you want an original replacement then maybe one of our resident breakers on here could come up with one. I went aftermarket with mine, just needed a changer cable to plug it into the standard radio loom. You can find these on ebay or Halfords.

I have had a really great experience replacing the head unit, the original BMW business cassette player was broken so I replaced it with a great car play alternative, which was available on Amazon here and with a decent in-line Pioneer amp. Works perfectly! Highly recommended.
