It's a bit rough, but from what I can tell from the pictures, the damage seems to be on replaceable panels (door, bonnet, boot), and the MOT history doesn't seem to be *awful* considering the price.. Does seem like it's been run on a bit of a budget though, and the classic "Oil leak, but not excessive (8.4.1 (a) (i))" I'm hoping is just general BMW things? It is *very* cheap for a 6...

Roof doesn't work and passenger door doesn't open, hard/expensive fixes?

Appreciate any input!

Love that color.
Window and top shouldn't be to bad to fix. Depends if you want to put the time and money in the body work. If the car is rust free I think its a good price. Has nice wheels and the better seats so there is a good start.

My initial thoughts were "what else is wrong with it"?
You can guarantee they have left some issues off the description (car dealers do that).

Just the bits that can be seen could cost more to sort than a decent 2.2 in far better nick. It needs a new door. Not cheap or easy. No V5. I wonder why? Oil leak has been there for years. Could be somewhere expensive? False economy IMO.

It also looks like the advertised price is not the price. Look at the description blurb about the 'auction process'.

s***, I thought that was the start of the "blah blah we've been in the business X years" crap so ignored it. Yeah not touching this with a barge pole. Good spot, thanks.

Thanks for the voice of reason fellas, the search continues.

No v5 is a no go for me
I did a small amount of digging on this lot.
It seems the lack of V5 is fairly common on stuff they sell. I wonder if they are scrap cars where the V5 has been surrendered and leave the buyer to sort out the outfall with the DVLA?
From some of the reviews I read, they are not 'auctioning' the cars, just using that term to absolve themselves of any responsibility going forward.

They look like they are the dodgiest of dodgy car dealers. From what I have seen.

You can't risk buying a car without a V5.
First port of call is DVLA.

If they declined issuing one you are well and truely screwed. And ill bet my bottom dollar this company will laugh if you ask for a refund
