Just for @ktnez99

Absolutely! A tart with a come-hither look 🤣
As to butter, etc. I couldn’t agree more. Never one to eat low-fat spreads, margarines, milks, etc. and yes, there’s been an explosion in obesity since the advent of ultra processed foods. At least when you make it, you know exactly what the ingredients are. Forget additives, E-numbers, emulsifiers and all those manmade nasties. Go wholesome. Can’t wait to see the next delicious creation!

Forget cup holders, this is what you need if travelling to North Wales

You'll have to drive pretty damn swiftly, the last strawberry one disappeared last night and the new apple one was gazing at me seductively earlier, may not last long. And you're right about knowing what's in food, don't eat anything you can't pronounce, folks. Or anything with numbers in it.

Apple again, I'm afraid. I've had an idea for apple and custard in the same thing, may take a bit of assembly, but if I don't try I'll never know. Mmmmm.
Exactly! You’ve got to try or you’ll never know how successful you’ll be! Thus ends today’s lesson 🤣
Sounds delicious, btw. Apple pie and custard, perhaps? Apple pie and custard homemade ice cream?

I am definitely driving to North Wales to sample these creations

Probably find The Nefyn Cat is on holiday !!!

Not had a "holiday" for seven years, since I gave up working and joined the ranks of the wrinklies. That's one advantage of being somewhere I actually want to be. Used to come up here from Folkestone for holidays, now life is one constant round of doing what i want to do while I still can, and if that involves building pointless stone circles then that's what it'll have to be. And pastry-based delights, obvs.
On a slightly different note, I have friends who clean holiday homes for a living, if anyone fancies a few days up here then "mates rates" may be available. Out of season, preferably. And there's no guarantee of the right kind of weather. Weather will be a certainty, exactly what type is a different matter.

Apples again, with a layer of custard underneath. And this time I made the pastry with some vanilla sugar in it. I'd say it was delicious, but I wouldn't want to blow my own trumpet.

Thank you - utterly delicious. I’ll bring double cream and greek-style yoghurt, perhaps a soya yoghurt, too 🍴🥄🥣
