Thanks Andy 👍

I took advantage of the fine weather down south this afternoon to do an oil change - 36mm AF socket to unscrew the filter cap... 😢

Not an everyday socket size but I managed. 👍

Hi all - just bought a 2000 2.8 Z3. Looking forward to ownership, as a seasoned petrolhead, keen to learn and do as much as possible myself. 👍
Welcome! I am located in Peterborough 👍🏻

Welcome to the Forum, all you will ever need to know can be found on here.
As we are Worldwide its a good idea to update your User details to show your location and exact model of your car so these details appear to the left of your posts or expand on your user if viewing on a phone. It assists us in answering questions and saves you typing them in each time you post a thread.
Suggest you bolster your tool kit with a code reader and a 20pin to 16pin obd cable changer to plug the scanner in to the round diagnostic socket in the engine bay. If you also have a 16pin obd2 socket under the steering wheel that will only read the engine module, the round socket reads all modules. A lot of us use either a Creator 310+ or 410+ readily available on ebay and Amazon circa £50.

Many thanks for the warm welcome and advice Colb - I'll update my details 👍

Already got the 20 pin adapter for my Foxwell from Gendan (who are an excellent bunch of guys down your way South Wales I believe) so looking at a number of minor points, nothing to worry about. 👍
