Hi all,
I’m Paul and I’m 65,
I found this forum browsing for parts for my 1996 Z3 1.9 V16 and immediately signed up. I live in the Netherlands and have been the proud owner of the car since 2016. Her color is arctic silber and over the years I had some work done on her as she was a bit neglected when I found her. M-style undercarriage and M-interior (exept for the centre console I think). I am almost certain she is somewhat like the bride of Frankenstein.
So in the first year I sent her off to her maker and she received new brake disks, brakepads and brakelines all around. All bushings were replaces as well as shocks. Next a new alternator and end startermotor, all the fluids and, last but not least, new wipers.
Later on I replaced the mirror bases for non-metal ones, bought a hardtop and from that moment on I have enjoyed her every day.
Luckily I can do a lot of work myself but at the moment I’m looking for a place with a car lift.
I try to be on the forum as much as possible.
