So the day dawned bright, clear and sunny, but by the time I'd got my a**e in gear it had started to cloud up. Flying solo today as Mrs Mint was busy I headed up into the Peaks on my usual [favourite] route up to Winkhill. Then on some flowing roads to The Winking Man Pub, then back down to Longnor for a coffee. Home via Upper Hulme, Alstonefield, Tissington and Mayfield. A great 75 miles in the bag, all top down, a great way to spend a morning.

Looks great and I've not tried The Winking Man so will be adding that to the list - it's only 20 miles from my usual route in to the Peaks via Owler Bar.

We are currently on our 2nd week in Florida so nice to see the photos although we have left Disney behind and are now enjoying the waterways of Punta Gorda and Charlotte Harbour - lovely sunset from the restaurant yesterday evening

If I had known you were in the area Garrie I would’ve asked you round for a drink. Just off the 192 a mile from the US27.

Tony.

Sounds like you were just a little North from where we stayed on Champions Gate - we were travelling i4 everyday to Disney & Universal which was very busy.

We took the i17 down to Punta Gorda which was about 2hr30mins away - apparently it's where all the Americans spend winter before travelling back North before the hurricane season hits

We went straight down the middle on i17 - will do the same tomorrow back up to MCO for our flight home. Takes about 3 hours.

Only seen one Z4 since we arrived - it was an Atacama Yellow E89 but I didn't get chance to grab a photo as I was concentrating on staying on the right side of the road =))

The majority of convertibles we have seen have been the Corvettes.

Do you have a late flight? If you have time to kill between checking out and flight time give me a shout.
We had Tom Campion and family stop for an hour last year.

Thanks Tony but we have an early afternoon flight and I suspect we will have all on making the airport on time - always par for the course for us :bashhead:

You'll be back in your Z well before me.

I was in the one on the corner of the car park, right by the shop. I think it's called The Cobbles or similar. Not the one that closed when the hotel bought it. Although that looks like it will be opening up soon as they are advertising for staff.
