I saw a similar styled??? Z3 recently on a trailer, looked like it was being transported to an off road event may be. The underbody clearance had been raised and it looked like it had a spare wheel bolted to the boot.

Those bars look really tall, wonder if the roof still goes up.
Probably, depends on how far forward they’re mounted. There’s a small sweet spot where you can get the bar high enough to properly clear a helmet, be back far enough not to be an impact hazard, yet still clear the hood mechanism. The hard part is fitting the rear diagonals to the correct angle and still allow the hood to fold flat properly.
