Must say I'm always confused by the voting! I know it's just a bit of fun, but I can only assume that some people just cast their vote for a photo of a friends car rather than a photo that has some merit, strange.

I always vote for the car I like best (generally green!). That's the trouble with democracy, others have there own reasons/prejudices! :)

I always vote on what I consider to be the best composed, clear picture with no distracting foreground/background objects in the frame, in other words the ones with Z3`s in them .

That sounds sensible @Eddie Zedder , but the best photos don't always have a Z3 in them . I vote for whichever 'photo' I consider the best, doesn't matter what car or colour. I often put one of my photos on the Thread, but they are just snaps from my phone and just put on for fun. Nevertheless, as I was trained in Design I do know something about composition, contrast and form. This is why I find some of the voting bizarre. Still, as I said, it's just a bit of fun.

My point @Duncodin was that I don't think people are voting for 'what they like' or the 'best photo'. Just an observation on my part based on the votes cast on some photos which are clearly not 'good photos' compared to all the rest in any way, using any criteria. It's not a serious photographic competition , no prize at the end, so why not just vote for which you like?
