£16 for two, including next day postage from BMW Direct Ebay store. They seem to send it from wherever the stock is located, some things have come from dealers in London and others from Durham.
How easy is this to do and what do u need to be careful of?
There is not much to be careful of, the front part is held together by (if I remember correctly) small Torx screws. I left it connected to the ribbon cable, you still have enough room to attach the foil. Alternatively, you can simply measure the display and cut a piece of foil to fit, then you don't have to dismantle anything.

The safest way is to take the wheel off and push the centre caps out from the inside. A quicker way is very gently prise out the centre cap using a sharp tool, whilst the wheel is still on the car.
Nice shiny new MOT with no advisories. This was the first one by my usual place. Bought the car last year, it’s a Japanese import so the MOT was done by the importer. I asked if there was anything to look at and was told “it’s spotless”. I did check it over when I bought it and changed the brake hoses but it’s nice to know there’s no emissions problem and it’s as it should be. Being a 2.8 I still have to pay £9 if I drive into Bristol though.

I got these a while ago and got some heat on in the Shed to get started fitting them.

How much did they cost. They are the same mine. The refurbishers around here don't like doing split rims.
They need to dismantle them and then replace or refurbish the bolts also and it is time consuming.
i also have the same and a local guy asked € 350 for a full restoration, (polish the lip and clear-coat, sandblast and powder coat the spokes, re-chrome the bolts). But in Greece everything is cheaper.
Phoenix Alloys, in Bristol, charge was £460.
However bear in mind that if I had gone for a standard colour it would have been £400.
It's a lot, I agree particularly, as there are other things that the money should have been spent on !!
The photo's are defo not the best as they really don't show how grim the original finish was (front R had a slow puncture down to rim corrosion) and they don't really show how nice they are now. ''Shadow Chrome''

Plastic bolts covers are probably the best option. Around £5 a set, most colours.
