The drivers door mirror vibrates badly when driving, but seems to settle down if I push it with my finger.
How is the glass fixed and how do I stop it vibrating so much?

Z4 mirrors are held in with some kind of glue, both of mine fell out. One when the door was slammed shut and the other shortly afterwards when I poked it to see if it was loose :( Both times they fell on the ground and broke:bashhead:Be careful it might be loose.

Thanks for the info. I'm guessing the Z3 mirrors are fixed in the same way. I may try to remove the glass and re-glue it in place.

My mirror on the drivers side fell out about 5 years ago 👍
Alan put superglue onto it and the mirror has stayed there even since 🙂
He also put superglue onto the passenger side, just in case it fell out ,as it was loose too 😁

Fortunately Z3 mirrors are held on by the electrical connection when they break in the traditional way. The mirror glass itself is clipped onto the motor housing, so if it’s only the mirror glass that’s loose, then it can be prized off and refitted reasonably easily.
Don’t use any glue, because it just clips in and if you need to remove the glass in future you will have to break it.
