Awesome Malc. You will like the red footwell lights, I did blue ones and they're very nice.

Tony.

Fantastic job and a great write up.
Now get behind the wheel and enjoy it. Look forward to seeing it for real soon.

Until all Smart cars and their bloody useless drivers are banned from the UK roads its staying in my garage =))

I’ve have blotted that from my memory.....

Just been out in the Zed..to get the headlight beams adjusted. I had phoned round and got garage quotes of £20-30 but out of curiosity I called Halfords.....was told approx £10.00....so took it there. All sorted and when I said how much, was told thats ok no charge( and got a free tea while I was waiting).......he suggested I got a new bulb for the drivers side dip beam, which I picked up on the way home, from a motor factors. :)

So I have a job for tomorrow now.

Very well done and thanks for a good read up with pics. I hope that you have many enjoyable hours in it after all the time and energy you have put into it

@Mazza Just on page two of this thread mate, stumbled across it doing a search for radiator suggestions and can't believe I've missed it! Think it was around the time I was doing my sills so was likely preoccupied with that. Anyhoo, excellent effort mate:thumbsup:

There are two tensioners if aircon is installed, but I now realise from the picture above, the part that I am missing is the Idler. But it does say if equipped. I have a threaded hole location for one but no idler installed.
So anyone know why its seems to be an option???

Did manage to get some work done though. The foam arrived today so with scissors, knife, bits of cardboard and some gorilla glue made up the air box liners.

Took a bit of time as it is not an easy shape but result ok. I bought 15mm foam, but 10mm would have made getting the cage fitted a bit easier......

Made a mess though!!!!
