Hi Andy, Apparently you are the man I should speak to first regarding the alarm fob/bricks.

I have a 1998 z3 1.9 Auto which arrived with no alarm fob and the alarm unplugged - basically I would like to try and get it working again.

Just bought a 97 Z3. Looking for an owners manual

Hi Tony, I have a problem with the boot not fully locking. The soft close mechanism doesn't seem to be working or engaging. When I lock the car on the fob it kind of locks the boot so it won't open but is not fully locked down as it would be if the soft close mechanism pulls it fully down. Is this a wiring issue and how do I check please. Many thanks Dave

I found some on USA eBay that fit and look perfect. Not ACS but looks like what they were shipped with. Would you like a link?

It looks straightforward but do I need to replace the guide support Real OEM 3321092362, 3352119263, 51718413359. any advice would be appreciated. I guess spring pads would depend on springs fitted? Finally to my original question; How do you adjust the dampers for normal road height and normal road use? Sorry for so many questions but out of my comfort zone with suspension stuff.. thanks Martin
